The Apperley Centre

Our three Post-16 classes are in a purpose-built centre which is only a 10 minute walk away from our main school site. The Apperley Centre opened September 2014.
A Tour of The Apperley Centre
The Apperley Centre accepts students from the whole of Gloucestershire. It provides courses for students between the ages of 16 to 19 years who are unable to access further education at a local college. Students may have sensory difficulties or need a high level of personal care and supervision.
The curriculum has four core areas:-
- Employment
- Independent Living
- Friends, Relationships and Community
- Health and Wellbeing
These are complemented by a wide range of enrichment activities, work related learning opportunities and therapies.
ASDAN Personal Progress and ASDAN Personal and Social Development are accredited qualifications offered at our centre for students working at Entry Level 1-3.
We also offer Entry level qualifications in English, Maths and ICT where appropriate.
