Free School Meals and Extra Funding for Schools - The Pupil Premium Grant
The Government is giving money to schools to help children from lower income families do their very best. This funding is called a ‘Pupil Premium’. For every child that registers successfully for free school meals, the school gets this pupil premium. Even if you decide that your child will not have a school meal at all, you can still register your child and enable the school to receive this extra funding. Our school website page PUPIL PREMIUM tells you how the school uses this extra funding to benefit the pupils. If you consider that your child may be eligible for free school meals, please complete the application form below or inform the office and you will be given an application form which we will submit confidentially to the local authority.
